Describe the work you do with UK London Chauffeur

‘Typically, I do transfers from London hotels and airports, plus guided tours to destinations such as Westminster Abbey, Stonehenge and Bath.’

‘They are extremely professional and efficient, and they communicate in a very clear and straightforward way. Every job is detailed on an email, and then a reminder is sent by text message just before the scheduled start time; if ever there is a change to the brief, I am notified clearly, so this makes it very easy for me to be a good driver.

‘Adam and Laurence pay a very competitive rate, and treat me very well. Unlike some other companies, they have very high standards, and vet all their drivers’ vehicles and knowledge. That means they tend to attract better clients, and they are people I enjoy working with.’

Describe the work you do with UK London Chauffeur

‘Much of the work is airport transfers, or days tours accompanied by a qualified guide. Occasionally, I’ll do theatre or dinner trips.

‘The most popular London sights are St Paul’s Cathedral, Borough Market, The Tower of London and the London Eye, and when we go out of London, people usually want to see Stonehenge and Bath, Windsor, Blenheim, Hampton Court, Leeds Castle and Canterbury.’

‘Most companies aren’t as detailed with their up-front information, and that makes my working life that much easier. I always get the details of the guide and a contact number, and if ever I have a query, they will respond immediately.

‘I really like the fact that it’s Adam or Laurence that responds, not some PA or message service, and they’re always on the ball. Having a real, knowledgeable person there for you is very reassuring.’

And Bath is just so picturesque, so it’s always a pleasure going there.

‘The strangest request I’ve ever had from a client was an American gentlemen who wanted to go to watch banger racing! It was absolutely mind-boggling!’.

Describe the work you do with UK London Chauffeur

‘I carry VIP clients to and from the airports or their hotels or on tourist tours – sometimes in London, but also to Bath, Stonehenge, Cotswolds, Windsor Castle, Leeds Castle – any beautiful or historic places. Of all the places I’ve taken people to, I think my favourite was Cheddar Gorge.

‘My clients are mainly from the USA but can be from anywhere in the world. Usually we are accompanied by a highly qualified tour guide, and I like to learn from the guides.’

Describe the work you do with UK London Chauffeur

‘I do a lot of corporate and private work for mainly overseas visitors, mostly from the US. Generally, they are people on business or vacation in the UK, often just here from a couple of days.

‘Most of the time – maybe more than 95% of journeys – are with a specialist guide, but now and then, a guide isn’t needed, so I provide a commentary for anything especially interesting.

‘Typically, we’ll be taking guests on tours of London to see the sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament and so on. But we also do a lot of day trip tours beyond London, where we would meet up with a local guide and tour places like Windsor, Stratford or the Cotswolds and surrounding villages.’

So tell us why you like working with UK London Chauffeur so much

‘Firstly, Laurence and Adam are really easy to work with – nothing is too much trouble for them, and they communicate clearly and concise.

‘From a business perspective, being is important, but it also demonstrates how professional they are, and in our business, not everyone is!

‘The clients and guides who take the UKLC trips are always decent, interesting people too. So all these things combine to make working with them an enjoyable experience.’

‘We also take people out of London, and the favourite locations are Stonehenge, Bath and Salisbury. When we go to those kind of places, we usually pick up a local guide when we arrive.
